Growing up too soon ( "IN"Monday 23/02/09)

The article name is "Growing up too soon" which was based on a report by Carolyn Quek and Kimberly Spykerman in The Strait Time on 9 February, 2009. It is a Character-Driven Story. It is because the story revolves around some girls under 16 having sex and in a Character-Driven Story, the events arise from the characters. I think the teenage girls should not believe so much in underage sex and think that it looks cool and get them the popular vote and thus gravitate to that source in order to get attention. I think that teenage girls should not get boyfriends when they are in secondary school as it will affect their studies. They should also not have sex with their older boyfriends and trust too much. The schools should also teach the teenage children about casual unprotected sex - unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases like HIV/Aids. Parents can also sign their childern up for courses to keep them occupied, so they will not go out with friends nad do unappropriate things. Overall, I hope the government or schools will take care of this matter and Singapore will have less of such cases next time.
