Total Defence Day

Today is Total defence day! Every year, on the 15th of February, Singaporeans commenerate Total defence day, so as to get the citizens of Singapore raedy for any attacks. Why 15th February? It is because that was the day in 1942 that the Japanese invaded Sinapore. Half of our class and class 1o1 went to the Home Team Academy ( HTA for short) on Monday to check out the cool stuff there which was about anti-terrorism which was about getting the public prepared for terrorist attacks ,not counter-terrorism which is like the SWAT teams rushing in and killing terrorists. We saw things like how terrorists blow up cars and how they make bombs. We also saw the different type of bombs there were and how to regcognise them. It was a very memorable trip and i hope to visit the HTA again.
